RegSERVO software is destined for one point only; to fix your computer completely. After awhile, ever single computer out there will begin to experience a slowdown in start-up time, shut down time, and in everyday usage. This can be due to a variety of different reasons, but most likely it is caused by the registry of the computer being corrupt.

An extra way to look at a corrupt registry is to think of it as being grimy. In other words, when your PC’s registry is filthy, you need software like RegSERVO in order to sterile it up. Why RegSERVO over the other registry cleaning applications that exist?

RegSERVO was planned by some of the smartest minds in the computer industry, but these geniuses also realized that everyday people also run into computer problems. That’s why they designed RegSERVO software to be so easy to use that anyone, regardless of technical skill level, can efficiently clean their PC’s registry with just a few mouse clicks.

Best of all RegSERVO is considered to work with any PC and any operating system. That would be why they are the savior of countless top firms including, aviation companies, marketing companies, and the like. While other registry software may be hard to use and then now work very well, RegSERVO is the the exact opposite… guaranteed!

Chevy supports the Volt by offering up a outstanding warranty on the electric battery

For General Motors lovers looking at the Chevrolet Volt, an auto powered entirely by battery for the foremost forty miles, General Motors has made the determination to aid the growth of drivers assurance in the vehicle. For handling some concerns engaged in purchasing an innovative auto, moreover a completely new model, as well as the risk of new electric technology, Chevrolet declared it is offering a generous transferable eight-year, one hundred thousand mile warrantee on the Volts lithium ion battery. The awesome warrantee is 3 years lengthier than the current power train warrantee on other GM automobiles. The warrantee includes the total of one hundred sixty-one electric battery parts as well as the thermal mgt plus charging systems.

General Motors is willing to provide this long-term offer because it is convinced in the Volts battery durability and dependability. General Motors engineers have really put strenuous tests on the Volts electric battery technology since 2007. In excess of 1,000,000 miles and 4 million hours were finished. Conducted tests included short circuit, impact, corrosion, plus water dousing.

As other manufacturers make their own electric autos, the Volts warrantee will more than likely serve as the definitive in the electric automobile sector.

The range of mp3 players on the market today is perplexing to say the least but their main benefit is convenience. With the right mp3 player music can be downloaded from CDs or from subscription sites on the internet.

1) So how does the mp3 player work? Basically, mp3 is a method of audio compression that maintains the original quality of the music. Due to the small size of this file, there is a large capacity for storing music.

2) What kind of mp3 players can you choose from? There are two basic types of mp3 player. The first is a flash player, which has no moving parts and is therefore good for people using their player while jogging or in the gym. However, the disadvantage of this is that the memory capacity is quite low. However, this isn’t an issue if you only plan to use the mp3 player for short periods of time. The flash model is able to hold about 200 songs and the popular SanDisk mp3 player is available for about $70.

3) The second choice of mp3 player works by holding their memory on a hard drive, much like a computer. This means that the capacity is much higher than the flash models. These can hold 20GB or even higher hard-drive, which should keep even the most impassioned music fan quiet! Its important to note that you are unable to add memory to your mp3 player therefore it is important to get it right now or it could end up costing you more in the long run.

4) The must have mp3 player currently on the market is the Apple iPod. But it is important to shop around and do your research since there are some good deals to be had. This way you can get a bargain since prices may vary greatly depending on where you look. An online price comparison may be a useful way of finding the best prices available at the current time.

5) Its important not to buy a mp3 player on impulse and you should really do some research first. The best way is to get on the internet and read the reviews of other users and guides from the official literature available. This tells you things that you would only know from actually buying and testing the mp3 player.

6) Another feature of mp3 players is their battery life. Some come with a built in battery that need to be recharged whereas others work in standard batteries. In either case it is important to look at how long the batteries will last. If they constantly need to be recharged or replaced then it won’t be cheap to run or necessarily very portable. It is also important to work out the battery life for yourself since the time quoted by the manufacturers may not be accurate.

7) One of the main reasons for buying a mp3 player is its ease and convenience of use. However, this is not always the case. Consulting reviews of the mp3 player that you are interested in again can assess this.

Finally it is important to make sure you have permission to download and play music since not all players work with all download services. You must also remember that it is illegal to trade mp3’s without permission from the song copyright holder.

Have you ever heard someone say; the chances of that happening are one million to one, it is just not possible. Yet, we know for a fact that the chances of winning the lottery are indeed one million to one. But we know someone will win, they always do, that is how it works. So often, we hear people attempt to prove that something is impossible using mathematical statistics, probability if you will.

For instance the chance of life, that is to say complex life in a human form within the Milky Way has been quoted as one million to one. Yet, here we sit today, alive and well on this pale blue dot. So statistically speaking humans cannot possibly exist, right! But since we do you here we are, obviously those statistics don’t mean a damn thing.

Recently someone in an online think tank stated that statistically the chances of life on Mars, that is to say complex life, as we already know there is some life; you statistically impossible. I completely disagree, as a matter of fact if you will recall the famous line in Jurassic Park, with the scientists said; “life will always find a way” and we can see from observation here on earth if there is life everywhere. From volcanic vents 10,000 leagues under the sea at temperatures of more than 1800 degrees bathed in waters saturated with HCl to bacteria colonies encapsulated in ice at subzero temperatures. Yes, statistically improbable, highly unlikely, but not impossible statistically or otherwise.

Next time you here someone say; “statistically that’s impossible” can you do me a favor and bop them in the head for me. There is just too much evidence that suggests the exact opposite. We live in a realm where events occur, they always have any always will; statistically speaking that is. Consider this in 2006.

We are seeing many top colleges and universities implementing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UAV Programs along with their newest robotic engineering schools. One of the latest trends in UAV design is to make these new aerial vehicles very small perhaps ypu have indeed seen the trend I am discussing? What is driving this new industry is the science and of course business, together these two factors tend to drive the technology and of course the military and Department of Homeland Security buying. All these groups must work seamlessly together. Innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists and engineers must be on the same page for a new concept or emerging technology of any type to work.

If you have been watching there are sub sector growing trends within the UAV community, for instance blimp technologies, new materials for dirigibles, inflatable wings, etc and they are definitely an important direction in which those designing UAVs, MAV and Micro organic replica MAVs, must be thinking. If you go online at Google Images and search you will see some ideas. I myself have had concepts the Blimp type technologies and concepts, as well as submersible UAV-AUV combos? Both will be needed for military and commercial applications in the future.

For those graduate students designing and engineering prototypes; I suppose money issues could be an issue, as development money is needed to live and still work; plus materials, sensors and equipment are very costly and will hamper both student and school budgets, but Indeed there are ways to get such things done working with sponsors and industry.

What many of these students really need is a monthly paycheck for two-years and $120,000 for parts and materials it sounds to build their prototypes. There are ways to do this through government grants however most include an unfortunate level of disgusting bureaucracy. I have never understood why Government Agencies do not understand how much bang for the buck they can get by assisting small entrepreneurs in such things. And what these entrepreneurs can give back in return as they grow their companies, both for military and those technologies they are given permission for and allowed to pursue with commercial transfer of such technology. This indeed also assists large defense contractors with a steady influx of new ideas, concepts and things to sell the government, develop and add to their own research and development divisions. Many larger companies look to find these smaller companies to buy and integrate which can be beneficial for both the entrepreneur and the mega-corporation.

Any engineer worth their salt must agree that DARPA is a very smart group to get involved with. If you want someone to review your design and concept, I would tell them to send in a paper, drawings and digital pictures to DARPA and they would be willing to do so. They would be glad to exercise their brightest minds and they love such challenges. So may find yourself with a “proof of concept” solicitation if it is good enough.

If you are an engineer, grad student or tinkerer with a small company and prototype of such a workable concept and are looking for DARPA to fund you they are looking for bleeding edge technologies and such things, if you can write it up as a scientific paper, plans and design and send it, perhaps a short video and some digital pictures, you may find yourself in a good spot, or better yet a contestant in the Next Big DARPA Type Challenge, you should be thinking about that.

When watching reality Television Shows, specifically “Survivor” it seems rather obvious that when one is walking thru the jungle or over difficult terrain, it might be easy to get lost. They therefore need GPS devices and some type of better lighting. Survivor Reality Television Show Contestants need body mounted lighting and holsters for their personal tech survival gear. One man suggested that;

“With people walking/running, we need a way to keep the light itself to stay direct. We do not want the light from the device to bounce with every twist and turn.”

Yes, this is a big concern. The human eyes on the body stay focused all the time. So the vision stays the same and the rest of the body moves. Evolution has provided humans with this incredible design. But if we are to mount a GPS unit and a lighting system on the person we need to consider that there is less bounce and less jarring at the hip and also at the center of the chest.

For the women Survivor Contestants; the light could rest between their breasts on a clip using a fiber optic tiny wire. For men it might be better to use Velcro for the front of the shirt although I generally run without a shirt on? So there is that? And for that naked guy, just Velcro it to his crotch or chest hair and let him deal with that later. Ouch!

That is not difficult really, as there are many personal tech devices and types of survival gear, which are mounted in such a way for this very same reasons. The light should be mounted on a floater. This is a great idea especially for those who jog with it.

Actually one engineer made a very good point and that is if you are tromping through the forest the light will bounce so much that you will not be able to see at night and you will probably get injured sometime through out the night. The GPS unit is not a critical and perhaps could be warn around the neck.

One might also ask what do miners use? And if you are looking at the ground directly in front of you, then you will be trying to look thru the light rather than where the beam might be pointed and a poor Survivor Contestant could easily step on a snake and be out of the contest. This is one reason that Survivor Reality Television Show Contestants need more Personal Tech Devices and why they must be properly mounted. Think on this in 2006.

Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) was truly a gift to mankind. His inventions profoundly helped to shape the modern world. His genius, insatiable curiosity and unstoppable persistence combined to bring us the incandescent electric light bulb, the telephone receiver, the microphone, the motion picture projector, the phonograph, the mimeograph, the dictating machine, the alkaline nickel-iron storage battery and so much more from his grand total of 1,093 patented inventions.

At age 10 he set up a chemical lab in his home and it wasn’t long before he was operating a homemade telegraph set.

At 21 be became a free-lance inventor, soon earning a $40,000 fortune.

At 29 he opened a laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey and vowed that he’d create a minor invention every 10 days and a major one every 6 months. Soon he had 40 different projects going at once and was applying for as many as 400 patents per year. In the middle of all this he formed Edison Electric Light Company (now General Electric). By then he was a mere 31 years old.

His pursuit of the light bulb alone involved the testing of untold thousands of filament materials in order to find a long-burning conductor that would require the least electrical power.

The light bulb was invented simultaneously by Edison and by Britain’s Sir Joseph Wilson Swan in 1879. Swan was first to actually construct a light bulb. But the additional challenge was that the filament had to be housed in an oxygen-free environment, and Swan had trouble maintaining a vacuum.

Edison achieved a few hours of light with a platinum filament in a glass vacuum bulb. “We are striking it big,” Edison said. “Where this thing is going to stop, Lord only knows.”

The thousands of filament materials that Edison tested included the carbonized filaments of some 6,000 living plants. “I ransacked the world for the most suitable filament material,” he said after finally coming up with the one that started it all for the electric lamp.

Edison demonstrated the first carbon-filament lamp on October 21, 1879. And within no more than a year after that he had developed a 16-watt light bulb that could last for 1500 hours.

So the gas lamp faded into history, and Edison went on to bigger things. Within three years he had developed and installed the world’s first large central electric power station in New York City. It rose as a contribution that facilitated the electrical illumination of entire cities in America and all over the world.

You can thank the extraordinary Thomas Edison whenever you switch on a lamp. Table lamps, floor lamps, desk lamps, porch lamps, garden lamps, street lamps, headlamps… we take them so for granted. But what would life be like without them?

No wonder America’s Thomas Alva Edison received the Congressional Gold Medal in 1928 for “inventions that have revolutionized civilization in the last century.”

We are now well ensconced in a time when the Web is riddled with graphics, animations, sounds, and videos, bringing about a necessity for superior internet access such as that which broadband can provide. The fact is that anything less than the speed supplied by a broadband cable has become inadequate for today’s Web users.

Of course, if you use the internet only once every so often, you wouldn’t be as heavily dependent upon high-speed internet access as is provided by broadband, however, if you’re a regular user, it’s virtually a necessity.

But wait a minute…even though you use the internet, it doesn’t mean you know exactly what this high focus form of internet access actually is. So lets start there. In essence, broadband is a very fast form of internet connection. It will provide you with a noticeably faster internet speed than a dial-up connection.

Broadband used to be a challenge only because of it’s limited availability, however, today there are many ways that you can have a much faster connection. The delivery methods have been expanded to the following types of broadband cable:

- Copper telephone wires
- Cable TV wires
- Radio microwaves from local base stations
- Satellite microwaves from geo-stationary satellites

Now lets look at why this faster style of internet access is actually better. The benefits of broadband actually include much more than faster downloads. Broadband is the connection that is always “on”. As soon as you start up your computer, it’s already connected to the internet. For anyone who has waited for a modem to dial up and connect, the advantage of this is quite apparent. Furthermore, broadband allows you to download movies, music, and web pages that were virtually inaccessible in practical terms when using dial-up.

But the benefits of broadband aren’t just felt by individual users. Businesses, governments, schools, and communities can all experience the superiority that broadband cables can provide.

Here are some examples of benefits for each of those types of organizations:

- Businesses will notice an increase in productivity when large data files transfer quickly and directly among local and head offices, no matter the distance between the locations. Moreover, with the popularity of net-meetings and videoconferencing, a face-to-face meeting becomes entirely possible without the travel costs.

- Schools can now offer equal opportunities to their students no matter their location or funding. A student in a remote community is now able to use a broadband connection to receive violin lessons from the same revered instructor as a student in a large city. Moreover, rural students can take virtual field trips and see the same fascinating and educational museums as city kids.

- Local governments are now enjoying broadband benefits that let them provide one-stop shopping for town business transactions, as well as licensing, permits, billing, and utility payments.

- Communities have been quick to jump on the broadband band wagon to promote their local historical and other various tourist attractions. No other marketing resource reaches as far and as effectively as the internet.

There are so many fantastic benefits to a high-speed, broadband internet connection, that it is becoming as “basic” a need as a computer in today’s society.
