Uncensored ATT Uverse Report
Wednesday, May 13th, 2009After a long time with Time Warner and many with Roadrunner, we decided it was time to give something new a try. I was sick and tired of always paying more dough for less with cable and wanted to examine other options. Cable definitely isnt good when it comes to HD channels. I really didnt want to deal with satellite and tried outAT&T U-verse.
My service was set up ok and at first, I couldnt have been more pleased. The only problem at that point was that sales sold me sports channels that never showed them. Everything was blacked out. Lo and behold this happens a lot.
For the next 2 months, I had great tv and new channels and features added regularly. The we received the DVR. I had an issue with a tv & the dvr. I waited a while to call customer support. And when I did, things started not going well.
After hours on the phone with a customer sevice rep, I had shutdown and updated every receiver and home gateway numerous times. After this, my service was sketchy and constantly dropping. He then scheduled an time for a few days later with a technician. The tech arrived and detected numerous problems which he fixed. I was unsure that everything was fixed for all intents and purposes but relieved that I had my service back.
